The Microascaceae branch is highlighted in the main tree. The heat trees use the same phylogenomics backbone, but are color-coded based on the expansions/contractions of the specific gene families over time. The color scale gives a proportion of how many genes were lost (towards blue color) or gained (towards red color) in a gene family at each node
